The threat that Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) would leave Wyatt (Darin Brooks) initially didn't cause Quinn (Rena Sofer) to end things with Eric (John McCook), but now, she may consider doing it if it is necessary to save her son's marriage on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Steffy will once again give Quinn the ultimatum that she end her relationship with Eric and leave Forrester if she wants to see her reunite with Wyatt and move back into his home, and even though Quinn is trying to use Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) to distract Liam (Scott Clifton) and hopefully keep him from successfully stealing Steffy away from Wyatt, she may start listening to Steffy's demands if she feels there is no other option.

"The oncle chance Wyatt and I have, is if you leave my grandfather," Steffy threatens in a preview clip for the Friday, September 9 episode.

After realizing that maybe even keeping Liam away from Steffy may not help Wyatt, Quinn may consider ending things with Eric in the hopes that it will persuade her daughter-in-law to return to her son. And when Eric realizes something is troubling her, she will apologize for all the trouble she has caused him by being a part of his life.

"I never wanted to complicate your life," she says in the clip.

However, Eric won't be ready to let her go yet, as she is the first sense of companionship he's had in a long while, as his children have grown up and moved on with their lives, and his relationships of the past all settled into just memories, including the one he had with Stephanie, who he has missed every day since she died. And he will try to remind Quinn that until her, and since Stephanie, he has only felt alone, and he doesn't want to go back to that place.

"Since she died, I've been feeling very alone," he admits in the clip.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
