Julianne Hough has responded to Amber Rose's claims that she "body shamed" her on Dancing With the Stars.

Rose and her pro dancing partner Maks Chmerkovskiy performed a risqué dance Monday night set to Jennifer Lopez's song "Booty". This was shown again on Tuesday night's episode, with the viewer now able to hear what the judges were saying during the dance. And one sentence from Hough really rubbed Rose the wrong way.

Rose spoke about this on her Loveline With Amber Rose podcast this week:

"It was a point in the dance where I had to lift my leg up and Maks dipped me and [Julianne] said, 'Oh, I'm uncomfortable,' and I instantly, I felt, I did feel body-shamed," Rose explained. "You know, all the beautiful professional dancers that are on 'Dancing With the Stars', I mean they dress very sexy and they do splits and they grind up on these guys and they look absolutely stunning and they get a standing ovation. And for me, and my body, my hips, my a-, my breasts, made her uncomfortable."

Meanwhile, Hough has made a statement about Rose feeling that she was body-shamed, noting that her being uncomfortable was more due to Rose's low energy level over anything else.

"To be clear, that was a produced package, not live coverage and they can put those sound bites anywhere," she told E! News. "My 'uncomfortable' comment was about the fact that I felt like I wanted more out of the performance - when someone is doing a hot, sexy dance like that without the right amount of energy that is required, it can be uncomfortable to watch."

Rose has had a rough start so far on Dancing With the Stars, with her and Chmerkovskiy tied for last place right now with Ryan Locthe and Cheryl Burke on the overall leaderboard. It remains to be seen if she will show improvements in the coming weeks, but she may have to rely on America's vote if she wants to last longer than some of the better scoring celebrities.

Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
