He's always kept the story about his past quiet, but after seeing Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and learning she could spill all his secrets for him, Travis (Michael Roark) will find himself forced to come clean with Victoria (Amelia Heinle) faster than he had hoped to on The Young and the Restless.

After getting stuck with Ashley in an elevator at Jabot, Travis received flowers on his desk at Newman, where he just accepted a job, from a woman named Michelle. Now, he will confront Ashley about the situation, and she will admit she called this mystery woman, the true story behind Travis' decision to leave his career on Wall Street behind will be revealed.

Travis didn't choose to leave his career behind because he felt burnt out from it and wanted a simpler life, as he claimed so often. Instead, Michelle was his boss's wife, and he slept with her. Despite falling in love with her, things didn't end well for him after his boss found out, fired him, and then blackballed him from any other jobs in New York.

Now, knowing that his job at Newman will be to try and protect the company from attacks by Jabot, Travis is worried Ashley could use his past against him, and that will bring him to tell Victoria the real story, and admit to the truth he never could say out loud before.

"I haven't been completely honest with you," he says in a preview clip for the Thursday, October 6 episode.

However, coming clean could do some major damage to his relationship, because not only will Victoria feel betrayed because he lied about his past and kept big secrets from her, but because she will wonder if he is repeating old patterns now by sleeping with her, and then accepting a high-ranking position in her father's company, and she will doubt if he genuinely loves her like he claims.

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
