After numerous speculations made on its release, NVIDIA' s new child: GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is hinted to be launched in the first quarter of  2017. Many potential sources are now indicating that NVIDIA is currently working to develop its next-gen graphics card and it might see the lights of day specifically during the CES 2017 event. However, with this incredible graphical unit, gamers as well as high-end level developers can now expect to fulfill their desires at an affordable price.

A leaked report from a well-known 3D forum suggests that this GPU will implement the GP102 GPU core design of NVIDIA. This clearly elaborates that it will be designed in the same manner in which its precursor: GTX Titan Pascal has been built. Therefore, GTX 1080 Ti is expected to deliver high-level performance close to the Titan X. According to rumors, major specifications include 3,328 CUDA cores and 12GB GDDR5X, as per reported by TechSpot. Reports also hint attribution of 1,503 MHz rays as its base clock and 1,623 MHz as the boost clock.

According to HNGN, if all claimed specs really attributed to finalized, then GTX 1080Ti  possess much potentially to compete with its previous versions namely GTX 1070, GTX 1080 and Titan X. According to some new sources, the GTX 1080 Ti will comprise a 1.6 and 1.5 GHz clock speed which is higher than the 1.4 and 1.5 GHz clock speed that the Titan X has. In this manner, a considerable 10.8 TFLOPS processing power may also be included.

It can be presumed that the upcoming GPU may be priced in between $700 to $800, by considering its precursor GTX 1080's price range. However, it is suspected to perform at the similar level with Titan X at a much lower price. Titan X is currently retailed worldwide at a comparative higher range of worth $1,199. Although, till now there is no such concrete update available about the price index of the product from the company's end and We have to wait to know more till any official announcement or clarifications comes.
