"Arrow" season 5 kicked off in October. Already, fans have seen the many changes Green Arrow's team have to go through. In addition to these adjustments, another actress is set to join the cast. Juliana Harkavy of "The Walking Dead" will soon be seen in Star City.

According to reports, Harkavy is set to play a recurring role. She will be giving life to Tina Boland, who is a former detective in Central City.

Variety described Boland's character as outspoken, tough, brash but diplomatic, and is hard to impress. In addition, vigilantes do not sit well with the detective. Therefore, fans can expect that Boland will give Green Arrow (Stephen Amell) and band of new recruits a difficult time in carrying out their missions.

The "Constantine" actress will not show up in Star City until the second half of "Arrow" season 5.

Meanwhile, Harkavy is not only the new actor hired to play a character in the CW series. The show also confirmed the addition of "Continuum" actress, Lexa Doig, in the cast, the Screener noted.

Doig will be playing Talia al Ghul, Ra's al Ghul's daughter and one of the enemies of Batman. She is an elite warrior, who marches to the beat of her own drum. In her character description, Talia is the half-sister of Nyssa al Ghul, a character which was already introduced in the series a few seasons ago.

Just like Harkavy, Doig is expected to appear in the second half of the current season, particularly in episode 10. Avid viewers of the TV show may just find that Talia will be more of an enemy to Oliver's team, rather than of help since she is a villain in the comic books.

This season, the Arrow team is comprised of new recruits after the departure of Diggle and Speedy and the death of Black Canary. The new group of vigilantes faces a new threat to not just to Star City, but to Green Arrow's life, as well. Prometheus and Tobias Church bring danger to the streets of the metropolis, where Oliver Queen is currently the mayor.

Watch how the plot thickens in "Arrow" season 5 every Wednesday night on the CW.
