There is both good and bad news for the people who are eagerly waiting for Persona 5 video game. Persona 5 release is delayed up to April 4, 2017. This is the third delay of Persona 5.

According to Tech Times, developer and publisher of Atlus revealed in a live stream on Twitch and on a post on the official PlayStation blog that the game will be launched in North America and Europe a couple of months later on April 04, 2017 instead of February 14, 2017 release for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.

Persona 5 was firstly planned to be launch in winter 2014 for PlayStation 3. Then inclusion of the PlayStation 4 was announced on 2015 PSX Experience. The previous version of this game, Persona 4 was released for the PlayStation 2 in 2008.

"I know, I know. It stings. But Persona 5 set the gold standard for Atlus with its launch in Japan, and we wanted to put the utmost care into ensuring it winds up the best when it launches in the west." said John Hardin, PR Manager of Atlus on their official PlayStation Blog

Benefits of Persona 5 is that it will have dual audio, Japanese and English. It will allow the gamer to switch audio while playing the game. Additionally, for logistical reasons, Atlus will release free DLC.

According to Atlus, the reason behind the delay of Persona 5 is that it needs more time to ensure the quality of the game before allowing it to hit the market. Atlus is working on English script currently as they will release the game in dual audio to target more games and they wanted to make perfect English script for gamers who play North America and Europe version. They want no difference between English and Japanese version so that every game experience the same.

Atlus announced that "Take Your Heart" premium edition of Persona 5 soundtrack CD will feature Justine and Caroline, the twin wardens of the Velvet Room. They also updated ArtBook and SteelBook.

There are some added benefits for the extra two-month delay in the release of Persona 5. People will like the new English version of the game with free DLC.
