Fans hope that Jana Duggar will find her love soon so they could watch her tie the knot just like her other sisters. Among the five grown up Duggar women, Jana and Joy-Anna are the only ones who have not married yet.

Although followers of the Duggar family are rooting for a courtship and romance for the 26-year-old Jana, she does not feel the need at all to rush through things. According to The Hollywood Gossip, the "Counting On" star's apprehension to commit may be because she is lesbian. Fans actually came up with this theory since the oldest Duggar daughter is not too keen on getting attached to anyone.

Many people cannot believe that Jana, who is beautiful, talented and sweet, does not even have any boyfriend. At her age, she should be getting out there and looking for the man of his dreams, fans stated. As a result, many now believe that Jana is into the same sex.

If this is the case, she might as well pack her bags. Jim Bob and Michelle are known for their extremely conservative views and the couple will surely not approve of homosexuality.

The lesbian theory is a rather outrageous and may even be far-fetched and baseless. There is no official status confirming or denying Jana's gender preference. Therefore, the possibility of Jana being a lesbian is 50% unlikely.

Meanwhile, another theory surfaced. Jana not being able to get married or to even go out on dates may be caused by, no other than, her father. Jim Bob and Michelle may be keeping their eldest daughter hostage in their own home.

Jana is known to be helpful with taking care of her younger siblings. Because of this, JBD may be pulling the strings when it comes to Jana. The "19 Kids and Counting" parents are not yet willing to let go of Jana maybe because they need her a lot especially in kitchen and in giving a hand to care for her little sisters and brothers.
