'Rick and Morty' Season 3: Premiere Might Happen In March; Dan Harmon Explains Reasons Of Delay

A lot of fans got disappointed when the speculated January 9 release date for Rick and Morty Season 3 doesn't materialize. But then, Dan Harmon explains that there are complications in producing the much-awaited TV series, thus making its air date delayed. Also, in lieu of the show's premiere, Adult Swim released a sexy sneak peek that teased the audiences.

According to Mobile & Apps, Rick and Morty Season 3 release date remains unknown among fans and viewers. It was noted that the last known update about the television series is that it is still currently under production.

As a matter of fact, Dan Harmon formerly stated that the forthcoming season is more difficult to produce as matched to previous seasons, somewhat because of the huge success the show got. "It's been harder this season," he stated.

Harmon also clarified that there is a level of conscientiousness that goes in every episode of Rick and Morty Season 3 before it airs on TV. He narrated that there was a specific episode he was already contented with, but the others do not share the same opinions. With this, it requires them to do some modifications and tweaks.

Furthermore, Travelers Today noted that sexy sneak peeks were also released and which also featured Rick being imprisoned. It can be remembered that at the end of Season 2, Rick surrendered himself over to authorities in order for the Galactic Federation to stop chasing them down and his beloved family members. 

This left the Rick and Morty's patrons into inquisitiveness on how Rick will have to accomplish an escape from a security prison.  Also, on how well he will have to treat his family from here on.
