Rick and Morty Season 3 Premiere Date Still In Limbo; What Happens In Episode 1 And 2 Teased In New Trailer [VIDEO]

A lot of fans have been waiting for the Rick and Morty Season 3 to premiere on January 9 but the said air date was cancelled. Luckily, the TV series' creator has revealed a sneak peek of the much-awaited show.

According to Counsel & Heal, a lot of fans got dismayed as Rick and Morty Season 3 won't be airing this month in spite of the rumors circulating all over the wire. It was noted that the speculations started when fans saw IMDB post January 9 as the premiere date.

But then, Co-creator Justin Roiland make the rumors clear by posting on his Twitter account that the show will not premiere this month. Nevertheless, he wasn't able to reveal the exact air date.

Although there's no update regarding the Rick and Morty Season 3 premiere date, a lot of spoilers are roaming around the Internet concerning its plot details. It was also reported that the upcoming season will continue the entertaining adventures of Rick Sanchez and his grandson Morty.

Also, a barely-finished sneak peek was publicized on "Development Meeting," an Adult Swim streaming web series. It shows behind-the-scenes actions of some of the well-known creations at the network.

Furthermore, Tripped Media has noted that the viewers might see Rick's breakout from prison in the earlier episodes of Rick and Morty Season 3. It was known to the fans that he was imprisoned by the end of Season 2 and it would be strange to see him having adventures if he's imprisoned.

The episode indicating Rick in these adventures with Morty will possibly be shown in Episode 6. This was obvious in the production code in the upper-left hand corner of the clip. Without showing too much about this specific plot, it is safe to conclude that Rick will escape from prison in Episode 1 or 2.

In another clip, Rick was also showed being literally shrunk down into a tiny pickle. He might be living his life without arms and legs with the help of Morty. But since he is a genius, Rick will be using insect legs and his instinct to defeat a pack of rats.

Rick is also turning sentimental, as a matter of fact, it can be remembered that Season 2 left Rick and Morty's patrons in a bit of cliffhanger. After all, Rick surrendered himself to the authorities, so that the Galactic Federation will not chase after his remaining family members.

This was really emotional for the often cynical Rick and Morty. Lastly, Rick and Morty Season 3 is anticipated to might show Morty transforming into the teenager so he should be complete with love and sex life issues.
