The upcoming Stranger Things Season 2 entices its fans for the continuation of the kids' encounter with the Demogorgon and the Upside Down. Although there are scarce details about the science fiction-horror web television series, little teasers from the show's cast and executive producers are being revealed.

In an interview with Vanity Fair at the BAFTA's annual tea party, the second installment of the Netflix original series' producer and director Shawn Levy teased what fans can expect on their return. "Season 2 is bigger and potentially darker in its stakes," he hinted.

Although Levy doesn't want to give much detail about Stranger Things Season 2, he still added that the threat to Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) on the first season will continue and will actually grow. He, then, talked about the show's upcoming and original stars teasing fans that it will be definitely bigger.

The new chapter of the Duffer brothers' series will have new faces like Sean Astin, Paul Reiser, and Brett Gelman. They will be joining the original cast Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Gaten Matarazzo, and Caleb McLaughlin.

Moreover, Levy also revealed that they will stick to their original kind of "magical storytelling" in Stranger Things Season 2 that they have been established in the first season. "It's character-based and still about our core group of characters," he added.

In the continuation of Stranger Things Season 2, it will exactly pick up where the previous season left off where Will was seen puking a slug while celebrating the holidays, Games Radar reported. With that being said, the 12-year-old star, who plays the said role, hinted that fans will see more of him in the coming new chapter.

After being promoted as a series regular, Schnapp teased that viewers should see if there would be an effect on his well being after he is trapped inside the Upside Down. He, too, tempts fans more when he said that he may or he may not turn into a monster in Stranger Things Season 2.
