What's the latest "Clash Of Clans" update for 2017? The Healing Spell event is already locked and loaded but "COC" players are still asking for more. What could be in store for "Clash Of Clans" 2017?

On the official Twitter account of "Clash Of Clans," the Heal Spell for air attacks is featured for Town Hall (TH) 9 players. This marks the beginning of a new trend that allows players to use one to two heal spells on their balloons at TH 9. Check out the video below for more details on the Heal Spell.

With the "Clash Of Clans" update and latest event featuring the "Weekend Of The Witch," iDigital Times reports that this is only the beginning of several updates and events to come. Further, Supercell is reportedly brewing more training discounts and special challenges with the ongoing Healing Spell event.

Meanwhile, while "COC" players are enjoying the new updates from Supercell, the game developers are brushing off the dust from what can be considered as a close-call bite-the-dust situation. According to The Wall Street Journal, "Clash Of Clans" developers have impressively upped the the game despite of its sale stumble.

In fact, there came a time when newbie mobile game from Niantic, "Pokemon Go," took over the top spot and left "Clash Of Clans" in the dust. During that time, Supercell was reportedly pulling all the strings to boost revenue and popularity, including airing a TV ad during the Summer Olympics in Brazil, which was quite costly. Still, things continued to go downhill for "Clash Of Clans."

"Every single thing that we tried seemed to go wrong," "Clash Of Clans" CEO and founder, Ilkka Paanen, said in an interview. It was only until recently that Supercell has bounced back and restored its spot in the charts. That said, Supercell CEO says that the sale stumble has taught them to listen and pay close attention to the players' complaints and feedback, since they are the ones keeping the game and the company afloat.
