While there have been a slew of potential suitors that have come into the picture for the groundbreaking role of Christian Grey for 50 Shades of Grey, a newer name has recently been pointed out to be the spitting image of the sketched character.

Actor Matt Davis, who is known for his recent work on CW's The Vampire Diaries as Alaric, is said to perfectly match the now infamous 3D sketch of the S&M-crazed billionaire by Dr. Skelton, according to Hollywood.

"Of all the dudes, probably the most well-adapted (and most closely resembling the sketch) is Matt Davis.  The actor from Legally Blonde and Vampire Diaries would be a surprisingly good choice for the role, given his previous work and, well, his looks.  Cockiness is key here, my dudes. Sure, he may not look like he's going to physically harm you in some weird-sexual way when he has his way with you," the site states.

Although the 35-year-old actor is older than the 27-year-old role, he clearly has the jaw line and facial features to make the females forget the age difference.

While the producers of the 50 Shades film have yet to officially attach a director to the franchise, 50 Shades of Grey is slated for its big screen release in summer of 2014. The movie will be shot in London.
