The year's most anticipated film Fifty Shades of Grey has yet to hit theaters, and rumor has it, producers are already working for the films sequel Fifty Shades Darker.

According to The Tracking Board Universal Pictures is already ready for the actors to cross their T's and dot their I's.

On Monday the site reported that producers are already searching for a screenwriter to draft the first script.

The site reported that the film's main stars hearttrob Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson have yet to confirm if they'd be returning, but it is believed that producers are already on board.

Back in September, Glamour UK reported that reality star and model Kendal Jenner has been approached about making a cameo in the sequel, but this has yet to be confirmed.

It's no secret that this new film has become a global phenomenon, and E.L. James, author of the Fifty Shades trilogy admitted that she got a lot of inspiration from Twilight.

On Monday Fashion Times reported that the author appeared on Katie Couric's show and explained how the film was the inspiration behind her new successful book series.

"Well, it all started way back in the day when I saw 'Twilight' the film, and I loved those books. I could not put them down, absolutely avidly read the books," James revealed.

"I wrote about Edward and Bella and then decided to write about Christian and Anastasia. I took the fan fiction, and a friend of mine re-wrote it and I thought 'if he could do it, so could I,' and now I am here."
