Jay-Z is set to sign a deal worth $20 million with Samsung, Page Six reported Tuesday.

The rap mogul was expected to sign the lucrative contract with the phone company in the next few weeks.

"You can speculate that he'll want to develop some kind of new music-streaming service to promote his acts and music on mobile devices," the source said.

If the deal were to go through, it would be the latest power move for the Watch the Throne rapper. The 43-year-old entrepreneur has signed the likes of Giants receiver Victor Cruz and Jets quarterback Geno Smith to his Roc Nations Sports. DeSean Jackson may be another named added to the roster as The Philadelphia Inquirer reported on Monday that the Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver wanted Jay-Z to represent him.

In October 2012, Jackson expressed an interest in collaborating with the rap superstar.  Jackson said that he wanted to be known as more than just a football player as he has a passion for Hip Hop since an early age.

"I have a slim chance of making it in the music industry.  It's a risk, [and there are] no guarantees.  But I'm a firm believer in having one life, and living that one life up," he said.

Per NFLPA rules, a five-day waiting period must end before Jackson signs with Jay-Z or another agent.  It is a rule that is being enforced as the NFL is currently investigating whether or not Jay-Z broke when negotiating with Smith. The NFL prohibits having colleagues or friends who aren't NFLPA-certified agents attend recruiting meetings. However, there were pictures posted of Jay-Z and Smith before the deal was finalized which has led to an inquiry.

Smith denied any wrongdoing to Manish Mehta, a reporter from The New York Daily News.

"Geno Smith on NFLPA inquiry re: Roc Nation: "I don't have any concerns. Jay-Z didn't recruit me. #nyj", Mehta tweeted May 13.
