Season 2 of Revenge ended with Charlotte Grayson losing her boyfriend, who died following injuries from an explosion, and remaining pregnant with his child.

The episode closed with Charlotte unaware that Declan Porter had died in the hospital and as anticipation grows for season 3 of the ABC drama, fans are wondering how Charlotte will handle teen pregnancy and if she will even keep the child. Actor Connor Paolo, who plays Declan, is confirmed not to return for season 3 of the show.

Actress Christa B. Allen recently spoke to TV Guide about her character on the show. She reportedly said that Charlotte will most likely go through with her pregnancy "in order to continue Declan's dynasty," though there is a possibility she could fall into depression.

She said in a separate interview that her pregnancy will likely have an impact on Charlotte's personal relationships with the other characters, specifically her mother Victoria Grayson and future sister-in-law Emily Thorne.

"I think the biggest point with her pregnancy is going to be how other characters take it," Allen said about her character. "How Victoria deals with it and I hope in a positive way because Victoria doesn't have a good track record of dealing with children, and then I don't know how it's going to affect Charlotte and Emily's relationship.

"It's going to be a weird dynamic, but I think there's going to be a lot going on there."

Season 3 of Revenge starts in the fall, airing Sundays on ABC. Spoilers have already been revealed regarding Jack Porter and Emily's evolving relationship (can he trust her?), and also where Emily and Nolan Ross will go with their friendship or possible romance.

The character Ashley Davenport, played by British actress Ashley Madekwe, will not return for season 3.
