The much awaited eighth film franchise installment "Fate of the Furious" is only a few days away from screening in cinemas. And to celebrate the highly anticipated moment, "Rocket League" developer Psyonix has officially released a new DLC based on the movie for the game.

"Rocket League" players can now purchase the Dodge Ice Charger that Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) uses in "Fate of the Furious" movie, according to IGN. Those who'd like to buy the downloadable content can do so for the price of $1.99. It comes with other extra freebies as well on top of the Dodge Ice Charger, specifically six new unique decals for the vehicle.

The crossover DLCs for "Rocket League" has proven to be quite a huge success for the developer. It is all due to the fact that some people from the movie studios are actually fans of the franchise, Psyonix Vice President Jeremy Dunham revealed. "That's been our biggest ally is the fact that all of the studios we've dealt with do play our game and are fans of it and they like it," he said.

This isn't actually the first time "Rocket League" has offered a crossover DLC into the game. Batman's Batmobile from the film "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" was once featured on the game as well as the DeLorean from "Back to the Future."

Because of the outrageous gameplay element of "Rocket League," some fans couldn't help but speculate as to what other vehicles that they can expect in the future. Game Sinners mentioned that Lightning McQueen from "Cars 3" might one day get featured in the game. It may sound totally plausible, considering that the movie franchise offers plenty of other concept cars for Psyonix to add in the game.

This one, however, is based on speculations only and it is in no way official. More news about future DLC for "Rocket League" should surface in the coming weeks or months.
