Last night's episode of Fear The Walking Dead had some strong moments, but one in particular happened within the last few seconds of the episode.

Just as the episode came to a close, the show revealed that a beloved character survived their presumed death.

Daniel Salazar, who was infamously assumed dead during season 2, beat all the odds and victoriously survived a no-win scenario.

The news of Salazar's survival made waves across social media, where it was a trending topic of conversation among viewers.

Salazar made his reappearance by offering Victor Strand water in a prison cell. The last time the audience saw Salazar was when he was having an existential crisis and burned down a building full of zombies while still being in it.

Once he saw the zombies revert back to normal, Salazar smiled at the thought of reuniting with his dead wife, although, he dropped a lighter on a ground full of gasoline. How he ended up surviving is likely to come up in next week's episode.

In addition to the reveal, there were quite a few memorable moments from the other characters.

Madison Clark worked her magic and tried to take over a settlement that she and her family have landed themselves in.

Additionally, her daughter, Alicia Clark, tried to win over her teenage peers by attending their "bible study," which is just code word for sneaking out and getting high in an underground bunker.

Fear The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on AMC. Airing directly after the weekly episode is The Talking Dead, which is a recap talk show that features celebrity guests and special sneak peaks. Regular The Walking Dead returns this coming fall.
