Jay-Z gave Miley Cyrus a shout out on one of his songs from his latest album, Magna Carta Holy Grail

"When I was talking Instagram/ Last thing you wanted was your picture snapped/ Feds still lurking/ They see I'm still putting work in/ Cause somewhere in america/ Miley Cyrus is still twerkin'," Jay-Z raps, before laughing to himself on the song. "Twerk, twerk, twerk, twerk/ Twerk, Miley, Miley, twerk...Miley, Miley, Miley/ Only in America."

Cyrus made headlines in the past weeks for displaying her twerking skills to fans.

Earlier this month, the 20-year-old singer attended rapper Juicy J's concert at the House of Blues in Los Angeles. Cyrus was videotaped dancing to Juicy J's song, Bandz a Make Her Dance. Juicy J enjoyed the singer's performance and tweeted, "Miley Cyrus twerked on stage tonite! The crowd went crazy!"

He also wrote on Instagram, "last nite was epic," with a picture of him onstage with Cyrus.

In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, Cyrus talked about the popularity of her twerking moves.

"I'm getting so many people writing to me about it," she told Seacrest. "It's weird, I've twerked for 6 million people. You can't really explain (twerking). It's something that comes naturally. It's a lot of booty action."

She also told Seacrest that fans have reacted positively to her dance moves.

"I haven't really seen one bad comment about my twerk video," Cyrus said. "This is the first thing! I'm like, 'I can't sing, I can't act, I'm dumb, I'm a hillbilly, but I can twerk, so, whatever.'"

She must be dong something right if Jay-Z took notice of her twerking skills.

The rapper's new album was unveiled to Samsung users early this morning and features collaborations with Beyonce, Pharrell, Timbaland, Nas, Swizz Beats, Frank Ocean, Justin Timberlake, Rick Ross and the late Biggie Smalls.

Magna Carta Holy Grail will hit retail stores Tuesday.
