AMC's hit TV series Breaking Bad continues to garner a massive amount of anticipation for the second part of its fifth season, which will disappointingly be its last.

However, while the upcoming eight episodes will be bringing the popular program to a close, show creator Vince Gilligan promises that the creative team won't be leaving any stone unturned, according to iDigital Times.

"This is a race to the finish. We leave it all on the field. No loose ends go untied. It's a fast-moving eight episodes," he said.

Aaron Paul, who dons the role of Walt's (Bryan Cranston) longtime protege Jessie, stated that the upcoming season will undoubtedly topple its past installments.

"This season slaughters every past season. We're burning every bridge, but we're not being dark just to be dark. It just plummets," he said.

Anna Gunn (Skylar White) stated that Gilligan pulled no punches in terms of each character's backlash.

"It's not pretty - it's as it should be. It's a painful place: the crumbling of every single character," she said.

Dean Norris, who plays what looks to now be Walt's main antagonist, also agreed that the remaining shows won't leave its fans disappointed.

"This last eight, they've outdone themselves. It's going out on a huge note. All of my favorite episodes are going to be these last eight. This season is Hank's revenge," he said.
