Season 6 cast members of The Real Housewives of New York City were spotted preparing for an upcoming camping trip and discussing plans for the weekend away, New York Daily News reported Tuesday.

Heather Thomson, LuAnn de Lesseps, Ramona Singer and Kristen Taekman stocked up on camping gear for an upcoming trip to the mountains with a three-hour shopping spree at SoHo’s Eastern Mountain Sports, a source told the publication. The women are scheduled to go camping in the Berkshires, where Thomson has a home. It was not confirmed if the trip will be filmed for the reality series, though production began in mid-May.

“The shopping spree was hilarious, watching these hot babes in their heels, makeup and body-hugging dresses shopping for — of all things — camping gear,” one Housewives insider said. “Roughing it in the woods just doesn’t seem like their thing.”

That same day they dined at Meatpacking District's Old Homestead Steakhouse and were joined by four male friends, including De Lessep's boyfriend Jacques Azoulay. The group ordered 2-1/2-inch-thick, 44-ounce Gotham rib steaks that one nearby diner compared to "something out of the Flintstones." Another eyewitness reportedly said, "No tofu, no alfalfa sprouts, no grilled veggies on this check. Just a lot of red meat and testosterone."

A couple of RHONY cast members were heard discussing camping plans at the steakhouse, the publication noted. They reportedly said that if conditions were too rough for them, they were going to Thomson's house for running water, air conditioning and other things. However, the source said getting Thomson to agree may be difficult.

"Thomson has the whole weekend planned," according to the insider. "She's going to be like a camp drill sergeant. She's taking them on a hike in the morning, fishing in the afternoon. This doesn't sound like a trip for makeup - or the squeamish."

A premiere date for season 6 of RHONY has not been announced by Bravo.
