Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's children are not in the dark when it comes to everything going on between their parents.

It is no secret that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have spent the majority of this year embroiled in an incredibly tumultous and wildly public divorce. Threats, both veiled and not so veiled, have been made towards new significant others, messages have been posted online, and attempts to rekindle the relationship have all been woven into one very dramatic tapestry. With news this public, one has to wonder what their children think is going on and what they understand of the situation. According to recent words from Kim Kardashian, they are informed.

According to an article on US Magazine, Kardashian spoke to Robin Roberts during The Karashians: An ABC News Special. In the interview the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum shared that her children, "know what's going on." She explained, "The younger ones don't understand as much...You have to just be there for them. No matter what, even in this crazy life that we live, you just have to have a really open dialogue with your children."

The Kardashian-West children North and Chicago have a better sense of what is going on whereas the youngest two, Saint and Psalm, do not. North West has even been mentioned multiple times in messages posted by Kanye, many times surrounding controversies about whether or not she should be on TikTok. We do not know the extent to which she knows this.

Even with all of the drama, Kim and Kanye are fighting to protect their children and do what is best for them. The Kardashian shared, "Kanye and I have had conversations. We have to talk daily for the kids, so you know, I hate that it had to play out like that. But when it comes to family, I mean, Kanye and I will always be family."

We are glad that they are thinking about their children through all of this, and that the drama comes to a smooth conclusion soon.
