Following the shocking ruling in the Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard defamation case, it has been rumored that the latter's scenes would be cut from "Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom."

According to Hypebeast (via Yahoo), Warner Bros. executives recently met to discuss removing Heard from the sequel to the smash DC film.

The actress shot the majority of her sequences in London in 2021, and her absence might be explained by an off-screen death, according to the site.

According to reports, her character, Mera, may die during delivery at the opening of the sequel, putting Heard out of the picture for forever.

The company's action is also expected to assist keep any unwanted attention away from the second sequel of "Aquaman," which is planned to be released next year.

While Amber Heard is destined to die in the sequel to the film that launched her career, the same cannot be said about Johnny Depp's lawyer Camille Vasquez, who became an instant celebrity after interrogating Heard on the stand during the six-week trial in Virginia.

Because of her legal skills and in-court brilliance, the young Californian lawyer unwittingly drew attention to herself and became the internet's latest star.

This is why she has apparently received a torrent of offers from Hollywood and is presently at the heart of a bidding war between legal firms who want her on their team following her triumphant performance.

According to sources who spoke to the New York Post, talent agents have been circling Vasquez because they perceive her as a "unicorn."

"A sharp, astute, and poised attorney whose effective performance throughout the trial catapulted her to a unique degree of prominence. And being a woman of color is an added plus."

The insider said, "Camille is inarguably a wonderful voice to weigh in on legal concerns, and networks are naturally chomping at the bit to speak with her about on-air chances."

Judd Brustein, a celebrity lawyer who represents Nicki Minaj, feels Vasquez is also on pace to become a partner at her current firm, Brown Rudnick.

"No firm would allow her to have a role in a significant trial like this if she wasn't on the partner track," he told the site.

Meanwhile, Vasquez was compared to Heard's lawyer, Elaine Bredehoft, with the source claiming that the associate's trial abilities were superior to the latter's. "Camille is undeniably a fantastic voice to weigh in on legal issues, and networks are naturally eager to chat with her about on-air options," the insider noted.

Camille Vasquez graduated from South Western Law School and joined Brown Rudnick as an associate.
