Rebel Wilson just came out in a new Instagram post, and introduced her girlfriend to the world.

Rebel Wilson is a legitimate icon. People have tried to body shame her and shut her down, but she always comes back powerfully, continuing to be unabashedly herself.

Today is no exception. The star posted on Instagram today, introducing her new girlfriend to the world. The caption of the adorable picture read:

"I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince...but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess."

This is both the first introduction to her new girlfriend she has made, and the first time she has announced to the world that she is gay.

Her girlfriend's name is Romona Agruma. No one knows how long the two have been dating, but they were spotted together on Super Bowl Sunday getting out of the same car. They were also seen previously on various red carpets and on different outdoor adventures.

One Twitter user pointed out: "Not Rebel Wilson showing us in plain sight and none of us seeing it."

She has a point. When we go back through the photos, it's easy to see that the two have definitely been out and about with each other for some time - though we do not yet know when their relationship officially started. 

The Twittersphere is coming out in droves to celebrate this latest announcement from Wilson.

Another joked, "Congrats on Rebel Wilson for being lesbi-honest with herself," in reference to her iconic role as Fat Amy in the Pitch Perfect series.

Fans of the franchise are certainly thrilled by the announcement. One poster shared, "Rebel Wilson has a gf?? That's so cute my little Pitch Perfect heart is dying."
