The big day has come! BTS drops their epic compilation album Proof today! In celebration, the K-Pop super group also dropped the music video for new song "Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)." Interspersed with Easter eggs that the BTS ARMY will delight in identifying, the song is a notable return to the group's singing in Korean and emphasizes BTS' uncomfortability with their sudden and overwhelming fame, while also expressing BTS' commitment to music.

The video opens with the boys sitting in a desert as BTS' Jungkook singing, "Was it honestly the best? 'Cause I just wanna see the next," setting the tone for the rest of the song. Though the imagery seems simple at first, with understated outfits to match, iconic set pieces from BTS' previous music videos appear, such as the "You will never walk alone"-emblazoned swing ride from "Spring Day," the boxcar from "Run," and the massive weeping angel statue from "Blood Sweat & Tears," underscoring the retrospective yet hopeful meaning of the song. The video wraps with the members sitting on a school bus as they peacefully ride off to their next destination.

In terms of lyrical content, BTS seems to be feeling the weight of their global fame. Though they're grateful for the accolades, they also describe their global prominence as "heavy" and "uncomfortable" and continue to emphasize that they're really just doing everything due to a love of music.

Despite becoming superstars, BTS insists that they haven't forgotten where they've come from, with BTS' RM rapping, "If noting much has changed, probably you'll say it's all a lie. There were a lot of changes, but I'm still the same. Finally, the main message BTS seems to want to impart is how though they've had "the best" past, they know that there's an even better future waiting for them.

Interestingly, song's name, "Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)" has been said to be a reference to an era of BTS albums called "The Most Beautiful Moment in Life," which featured songs like "I Need U," "Run," "Fire," and "Save Me."

Another significant point about "Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)" is how the song marks a return to singing in Korean. The past few hits BTS released, including "Dynamite," "Permission to Dance," and the ubiquitous "Butter," were all sung in English and weren't primarily composed or written by the band. (RM did contribute to some songwriting for "Butter," but even he admitted that the song was pretty complete when they got it.) However, with "Yet To Come," it looks BTS' Suga, BTS' J-Hope, and RM all participated in the writing process, which makes at least this BTS fan happy.

As BTS fans continue to replay the music video, we're sure more intriguing details and theories will emerge about the imagery. We're looking forward to seeing what the ARMY comes up with!
