Amber Heard needs more sources of income to be able to pay up Johnny Depp.

Heard's net worth is not enough to cover the debts she has after losing the defamation trial. The jury notably gave Depp $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages - although the latter was reduced to $350,000 due to the state's statutory cap or legal limit.

Even after taking away the $2 million win she has, the actress still cannot settle the whole amount.

With that, reports about her plans to sell the gift she received from Elon Musk emerged.

Marca shared an article this week, saying that the "Aquaman" star received a Tesla Model X car from the business mogul when they were still in a relationship. The pricey vehicle has 1,200 horsepower that can push the vehicle to travel 628km on a single charge.

It also has a top speed of 250km/h. As of press time, the car is worth around $130,000.

Heard and her representatives are yet to confirm the report. But the amount is still not enough to help her pay Depp fully.

Aside from the car, Heard reportedly aims to complete the fees through her movies. But Marca also noted that they still cannot complete her payment.

Previously, her fans tried helping her by creating a since-deleted "Justice for Amber Heard" GoFundMe page. The website, however, said that it was flagged and removed before being able to get a substantial amount of money.

"[GoFundMe] will remove any fundraisers unless there's a direct connection and the fundraiser has been authorized by the recipient of the funds," a representative said per Insider. "[Our] top priority is to keep our community safe and protect the generosity of our donors."

Amber Heard Cannot Pay Johnny Depp

The new releases came after her lawyer, Elaine Bredehoft, told "TODAY" that the actress can absolutely not pay the damages amount. She added that Heard paid over $6 million in legal costs for the trial so far.

In an interview with PEOPLE, legal analyst Emily D. Baker revealed what would happen if Heard could not pay everything.

"Ben Chew said in his closing argument that Johnny Depp wasn't seeking to punish Amber Heard with money. [Chew said on Friday to the jury: The case "has never been about money" or about "punishing" Heard.] I imagine that they will try to settle it and you'll see a PR statement that they are not seeking to enforce the judgment," she said.

But since Heard still plans to appeal, she will need to settle her debts and cash out additional fees to pursue a new plea.
