Newly unsealed documents in the Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard defamation case have been publicized after fans of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star reportedly paid $3,000 to find damaging revelations about his ex-wife.

Their strategy, however, backfired.

Over the weekend, over 6,000 documentswere produced and published online, providing further information regarding Heard and Depp's connection.

Some documents include pre-trial material provided by their respective legal teams but not used in the trial.

This includes the "Edward Scissorhands" actor's team attempting to submit nude photos of Heard as proof, as well as the "Aquaman" actress's team supplying filthy text exchanges between her ex-husband and controversial star Marilyn Manson.

However, legal expert Andrea Burkhartstated on Twitter that she raised $3,300 to get these contentious documents opened and made public on her website.

Fans hurried to inspect and study the documents, sharing them on social media in the hopes of proving their idol's innocence.

Unfortunately, certain court filingsrevealed material that cast a poor light on Johnny Depp and his staff.

One piece of evidence rejected by the court but supplied by Amber Heard's team reveals the latter contesting the evidence submitted by the actor's team, such as nude images of Heard and facts about her employment as an exotic dancer.

Some said that the attempt to use the nudists as evidence in the trial was a type of revenge porn.

Another piece of evidence were text communications between Depp and Manson, who is accused of domestic violence by his ex-fiancée. Manson refers to his wife Lindsay Usich as "Amber 2.0" in the book.

According to the text, "With L's family, I had a major police Amber type scenario. I'm f---ing stressed. I'm not sure whether you've returned, but I need to find refuge somewhere since I believe the cops are on their way to me."

Johnny Depp's legal team also requested that any references to any information relating to Charles Manson be omitted from evidence because they "smear" Depp under a "guilt by association argument."

Another piece of evidence from the unsealed records revealed that Depp had erectile dysfunction.

Despite the fact that Depp received the highest honor, many people believed that the hidden evidence depicted him more adversely than his ex-wife.

"It would have been far better for Depp fans if they had just donated the money to a homeless person, or even the poor male DV victims they claim to care about," one user commented.

"But no, they attempted to obtain dirt on Amber, and it backfired brilliantly."

"The way the Depp followers' infatuation backfired on them is the funniest thing to happen on twt this week," remarked another. "Ik Depp is pisseddd."
