Martha Stewart dispels the ridiculous speculation that she and Pete Davidson may have begun a relationship following his breakup with Kim Kardashian. In fact, she's inviting him over to his podcast to show just how funny those rumors are - if they do not start something new, that is. After all, people can just look into things quite differently these days.

Stewart however is adamant that she felt "motherly" towards Davidson - so those romantic speculations should be quelched already.

Stewart, 81, gushed to The Daily Mail, "Pete Davidson is like the son I never had," when asked if she could be his next lover. "He is a charming boy who is finding his way. I've invited him to come on my podcast and I look forward to hearing what he has to say."

Following Pete and Kim's separation, a photo of Stewart holding Davidson's hand while she sat for a selfie with him and Kardashian, 41, at the White House Correspondents' Dinner in April went viral, sparking online rumors. "We should've seen this coming," wrote one Twitter user who shared the snap in question.

Fans made the conclusion as well since Stewart once said that she does not think the pairing between Davidson and Kardashian is a "usual" one. She thinks its the opposite.

In May, Stewart told E! News that the "Saturday Night Live" actor and the Skims creator were "cute together" despite being a "unlikely pairing." She said at the time, "They appear to have a wonderful affection for one another, which is really nice."

Page Six was informed by a source that Davidson and Kardashian have ended their relationship and that they wish to remain friends. "They have a lot of love and respect for each other, but found that the long distance and their demanding schedules made it really difficult to maintain a relationship," a source shared.

Days later, Kardashian's ex-boyfriend Kanye West insulted Davidson on Instagram with a doctored New York Times front page proclaiming "SKETE DAVIDSON IS DEAD AT THE AGE OF 28." Kim reportedly reacted angrily to the action, prompting West to remove the post.

Despite these speculations, it does not appear that Davidson is ready for anything new in the romance department. Instead, the guy was spotted being chill and even cheerful about being single.

On Thursday, comedian Pete Davidson was photographed on his way to the Wizards! set in Cairns, Australia, where he is currently filming. The former Saturday Night Live performer wore pink shorts, a backwards green baseball cap, and a green tank. As he proceeded, he took a moment to flash photographers a smile and peace sign.
