Americans appear to be turning their backs on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down from their royal responsibilities in 2020 and moved to the United States, where they scored multimillion-dollar agreements and were greeted with open arms.

Though their initial motivation for leaving their top positions at Buckingham Palace was to live quiet, financially independent lives, this is no longer the case.

In fact, the pair has been even more vocal, making various shocking accusations about the British royal family and their interactions with them.

Meghan's recent statements about the media and their royal family from across the pond are causing consternation in the United States.

The mom-of-two made alarming comments about the British media and the royal family in an interview with The Cut, prompting harsh online outrage.

Meghan claimed that the British media called her children the "N-word" in a well publicized story.

The Duchess of Sussex is now deemed "tabloid material," according to a TV source who talked to The Telegraph.

"Her popularity hasn't decreased, but her star power has." She was on the verge of becoming Duchess, but several of their initiatives had failed, and some of the shine had faded."

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are allegedly attempting to capitalize on public interest in them in order to fund their opulent lifestyle.

However, there are some troubling signals that the US is becoming tired of the couple's complaining.

"It would be inaccurate to say she is unpopular, but we are focusing less on her," they explained.

The Daily Mail also stated that the top page of the New York Post included the Duchess of Sussex's last media appearance with the headline, "Toddler and Tiara: Spoiled princess Meghan STILL complaining about royal family."

The Washington Post even advised the former "Suits" actress to "leave royal traumas behind" in order to prosper in the media.

Instead, Americans and the American media are said to be concentrating on Prince William and Kate Middleton right now.

Significant Changes to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Visit to the UK

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expected to visit the United Kingdom twice this September, once for the WellChild Awards and once for the One Young World 2022 Summit.

However, it has been reported that following the new interview with Meghan, there would be no meetings with Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, Prince William, and Kate Middleton, or any other senior palace personnel.

According to an OK magazine insider, everyone is afraid of being near the Duke and Duchess of Sussex since whatever they say might show up on the cover of any US magazine.
