Meghan Markle has been in the news a lot this month, and it might all be because of one significant event.

According to Radar Online, the Duchess of Sussex and her PR team strategically timed her bombshell interview with The Cutto coincide with the 25th anniversary of Princess Diana's death.

She also plans to release "Archetypes" podcast episodes this month, with the first one airing last week with guest Serena Williams.

However, a source told the magazine that the podcast was set to premiere the same week that the Princess of Wales died.

"Meghan's team agreed with the outlet that it had to premiere the week of August 29th. Meghan was not given copy or photo approval, but she was told when the interview would be broadcast."

But are Meghan Markle's new releases really meant to compete with the tragic anniversary of her mother-in-law?

According to the insider, it's the Duchess' way of "complimenting" the occasion.

"What better moment for Meghan to speak up about how the royal family treated her? The same family that treated Princess Diana so poorly."

They went on to suggest that the former "Suits" star understands what she's doing since she not only scheduled her interview to run this week, but she also worked with Spotify to guarantee her podcast will premiere in August.

Other sources anticipate Meghan Markle to draw even more heavily on the late royal's legacy, with a third source telling the newspaper that the ex-actress feels this is just a winning recipe.

Since she has already lost the favor of the British people, Meghan is apparently attempting to focus only on becoming a household name and important figure in the United States - and, in the end, the former royal's approach was successful.

According to another Radar claim, Meghan Markle's bombshell interview with The Cut generated such turmoil and fear at Buckingham Palace that Prince Charles and Prince William convened emergency talks to figure out how they might clean up her newest disaster this time.

The royal family was allegedly unaware that the Duchess of Sussex had a sit-down interview with a newspaper in which she dramatically criticized the British media and brought up the racial claims again, as well as addressed how she and her husband, Prince Harry, had been shut off from the royals.
