Daniel Radcliffe recently shared what he does not want his future kid to have.

At the age of 11, the former child actor became a household figure after acting as the principal character in the "Harry Potter" franchise.

In a recent interview, the 33-year-old discusses how his own problems with childhood celebrity shaped the way he plans to manage his children if and when it comes.

According to Newsweek, the British actor would like his children to be present on film sets.

"A dream would be for them to come onto a film set and be like 'God, you know, I'd love to be in the art department. I'd love to be something in the crew.' Some part of this, but not from that."

But Radcliffe added that while he loves what he's doing as an actor, he insisted, "I wouldn't want fame for my kid."

The actor said that growing up in the limelight had advantages, but that the celebrity that came with it should be "avoided at all costs."

The "Victor Frankenstein" actor stated that if you can get into a scenario where you're on set without thinking, "this is going to be a significant event in your life, that's terrific."

He went on to explain that movie sets are "beautiful places," and that most of the time, they can also be excellent places for kids. "It's basically the famous element of it that should be avoided at all costs," Radcliffe stressed.

Not only did "Harry Potter" become a box-office success, but the eight-film series also covered Radcliffe's boyhood and prepared him for life.

Daniel Radcliffe has a reported net worth of $110 million and a salary of $15 million.

The Dark Side of Daniel Radcliffe's Early Fame

Meanwhile, Daniel Radcliffe discussed drinking alcohol to cope with his early success, claiming he felt too scrutinized.

In another interview with "Off Camera," the former child star stated that being "extremely intoxicated" was the quickest way for him to forget he was being observed.

He has been clean since 2010 and credits his pal with helping him overcome his alcoholism.

Daniel mentioned that he awoke one morning after a particularly difficult night thinking that what he was doing to himself wasn't helping at all.

Daniel has been with his girlfriend, Erin Darke, for almost 10 years, since meeting on the 2013 film "Kill Your Darlings."

The actor is now acting in the forthcoming biopic "Weird: The Al Yankovic Story," which is based on the polka-playing singer.
