Melania Trump's former aide is fueling the rumors of marital issues surrounding the ex-first lady and her husband, Donald Trump.

Stephanie Winston Wolkoff took to X, formerly Twitter, Sunday to suggest that the former president's recent behavior toward Melania is a "tell" about the current state of their marriage.

"Let me bottom line this for you," Winston Wolkoff wrote. "Perception is everything to the Trump Family so Donald's lack of 'chivalry' towards Melania is quite a 'tell.'"

"Chivalry for Donald was waiting for Melania to go first [and] ensuring she walked by his side. He's been doing neither recently," she claimed.

Winston Wolkoff, who wrote a tell-all book on the ex-first lady, posted a montage of clips from past and recent appearances of Trump and Melania that she says back her claim.

The first clip showed the Trumps holding hands and walking side-by-side, while the second showed the former president walking behind Melania.

The last two clips, which appeared to have been taken more recently, showed Trump walking ahead of his wife.

The third clip showed Melania sporting a black sleeveless halterneck jumpsuit that appeared to be similar to the one she wore at the Trumpettes Gala held in honor of her husband at Mar-a-Lago in Florida last month.

In the fourth clip, Melania can be seen rocking an all-white pantsuit and black blouse -- the same outfit she was snapped wearing at a formal dinner at Mar-a-Lago Friday in honor of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.

Winston Wolkoff's new claims sparked mixed reactions on X, with some agreeing with her and others pushing back against her comments.

One user speculated, "I'd lay odds that she's getting paid for her appearances lately. They hate each other but he needs the trophy wife/model to feel good about himself."

However, another wrote, "People read [too] much into things. This family has been put through hell by the media and the court system. She also just lost her mother. Her heart is not into this right now. She would rather be home but she is there for her husband."

Rumors about the Trump couple's marriage have circulated over the past several months amid Melania's absence from the campaign trail.

The speculation grew last week when Melania was a no-show at Trump's Super Tuesday celebration at Mar-a-Lago.

Melania's absence from the event sparked concerns over the couple's marriage, with one X user writing: "How come Trump was so sad last night? He should have been happy last night doing so well on Super Tuesday. Was it because Melania wasn't there to support him. I think something is going on with them."

At the time, Winston Wolkoff chimed in with her thoughts on Melania skipping her husband's victory party, claiming on X that the former first lady was not there "because she did NOT have to be."

"His supporters do NOT care if she is by his side or NOT, so now she does NOT have to be. NOThing more, NOThing less," Melania's former friend alleged.

The rumors remain unconfirmed as Melania and Trump have not publicly addressed her absence from the celebration.

However, Melania seemingly shut down the speculations when she appeared alongside her husband at the Mar-a-Lago dinner for Orbán Friday.

Trump was also seen embracing Melania and giving his wife a kiss in a clip the Daily Mail obtained from the Trumpettes ball, an event that marked the ex-first lady's return to public life following her mother Amalija Knavs' funeral in January.

During a town hall with Fox News' Laura Ingraham in February, Trump said that Melania will "be out a lot" on the campaign trail in the future while emphasizing that she's a "private person."

The former president also gushed over his wife, describing her as a "very brilliant person" and praising her charitable endeavors and how she's raised their teenage son, Barron Trump.
