British singer-songwriter Craig David took on the #SongReverseChallenge.

Recently, David took to his social media pages to share how he made his "'American Girl' Meets 'London Boy' Remix" in just five minutes. His creation is a reverse of Taylor Swift's 2019 hit song from her seventh studio album, "Lover."

Swift's song is about a girl from SoCal who falls in love with a Londoner. David's version is about a lad living on another side of the world but falls for a girl from America.

"There was this American girl / But let's be honest / She was outta my league / Lived on the other side of the world / Maybe we'll meet / But I guess we'll see," his lyrics read.

"I'll take her for a cruise / Take her to Madame Tussauds by Waterloo / Or to that coffee shop by my mews / Because there was this American girl / She's way outta my league / But I guess that's the thrill of the chase."

Many netizens on Instagram loved Craig's version of the multi-Grammy-awarded singer's track, so they flooded his post with positive comments.

"Smashed it. Reminds me of how 'Born To Do It' was made," commented a fan.

"@taylorswift needs to invite you on stage when 'The Eras Tour' comes to London!" wrote another.

"Is there anything you can't pull off?" someone else asked.

"Legend. Love this!" gushed a different netizen.

"This is why I love you so much. Music just flows through your blood. Guess what? Strangely enough, I was thinking of booking tickets to the wax works for my grandchildren today," another netizen quipped.

"CD and Taylor Swift... now that collab would be off the hook," opined a sixth IG user.

"Sounds good! Think we need to get a release?" another commenter remarked.

"Haha! Another banger! You keep delivering, bro!" someone else commented.

"This man and his voice are a work of art themselves," claimed a different netizen.

Other comments said David was a "pure genius," "amazing" and "on another level."
