Rapper Cam'ron was invited to CNN on Monday evening with Abby Phillip to discuss Sean "Diddy" Combs' disturbing assault video, and he was less than thrilled.

Phillip jumped right in, asking whether he "recognized" Combs' violent behavior which was portrayed in the footage. Cam'ron initially slammed the rap mogul's vicious behavior, but when the host doubled down asking about whether he recognized "that kind of anger at all," he grew irritated.

"I don't know him like that, what do you mean did I recognize him? I've seen him. What you mean my experiences? I've seen them and I thought it was disgusting. I didn't do a zoom to see if it was really him or something, he admitted it was him," Cam'ron, 48, darted back.

When Phillip inquired about Diddy's alleged problematic behavior and business deals, he decided to pull out a small cup of libido-boosting enhancement drink, HorsePower, shamelessly plugging the product.

Phillip asked about a clip from the Harlem emcee's YouTube series, 'It Is What It Is,' referring to a moment when Ma$e, fellow host and associate of Diddy, admitted he took a young and inspired Cam'ron to The Notorious B.I.G. instead of Puff.

"Is there something known in the industry about how Diddy treated his artists?" Phillip, 35, asked. Instead of answering the question, Cam'ron was heard sipping and swallowing the pink drink which came in a small cup.

"Sorry, I'm gonna get some cheeks after this HorsePower joint," he responded to a stunned Phillip, flaunting the cup's label.

"That's my brother," he said, referring to long-time friend Ma$e, born Mason Durell Betha. "If he felt that way, then he felt that way. I can't really tell you how Puff [Diddy] moves or anything like that. Ma$e may know better than me because he was signed to Puff, I wasn't."

The interview quickly wraps when Phillip asks if Combs, 54, was protected by industry individuals around him, which may have enabled his behavior, stating "Diddy couldn't get away with this stuff if there weren't a lot of people protecting him," and whether he thought that was the case.

"Who the talent agent for this joint?" Cam'ron responded irritably. "Like, you think I be sitting watching what Diddy do and all this? I didn't know this was a Diddy joint that y'all invited me to. Yo, who booked me for this joint?"

In 2003, Cam'ron, real name Cameron Giles, had another contentious interview alongside Roc-A-Fella co-founder Damon Dash during the 'O'Reilly Factor,' leading to Cam's famous line: "You mad," which remains to be a staple in hip-hop chronicles.
