K Michelle opened up about her upcoming appearance in two new reality shows in her cover story for Sister 2 Sister. The reality star appears on the magazine's September 2013 issue.

The R& B singer who is classically trained piano player said her role in the upcoming season of Love & Hip-Hop New York season 4 will focus on her personal life as a mother, friend and singer. Viewers will see less of her notorious aggressive side that led her to have multiple arguments on Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta.

"You see the angry me, but this show is more [about] my move to New York," Michelle told the magazine. "Like, I'm just getting in my house this week in New York. Now we found the furniture-all of this kind of stuff, and just my growth as an artist and me dating again and just me being a mother and my real friends, not the friends that I've been put with."

K Michelle vows that her fans will see she has more positive aspects to her personality and said she realized that she was portrayed as the "villain" in LHHA but she has moved on from that.

"You know it's gotta be a villain every season," Michelle explained. "Somebody's got to bring the ratings. It falls on me; I take it. It is what it is.

But I think people need to understand that I'm not always angry," she revealed. "I'm very calm. My manager always says I'm the most giving person out of any artist that he's ever met. I will do anything for anybody."

The issue of Sister 2 Sister magazine featuring K Michelle on the cover is currently on newsstands.
