One of American Horror Story's biggest stars may be leaving after the upcoming season.

Jessica Lange, who played Constance in season 1 and Sister Jude in season 2, might be leaving the horror anthology series after season 3. Speaking with the Los Angeles Times in a recent video interview, Lange revealed her intentions to leave the series soon.

"I think if this [season 3] were the last season, that would be wonderful because it would be a trilogy, " she explained.

She added that she would be open to continuing through season 4, but nothing beyond that.

"I think that would be the absolute stop date. One more after this, because . . . it takes up a lot of time. It's a big commitment every year. There's a lot of other things that I want to be doing."

The 64-year-old actress revealed a few details about season 3 of American Horror Story in which she will play Fiona, the leader of a pack of Salem witches. Sarah Paulson, another series regular, will play Fiona's daughter Cordelia.

"This season [Paulson] plays my daughter, although it's a rather strange relationship," she revealed. "It has many twists and turns."
