To the excitement of its fans, CBS' The Big Bang Theory is now less than two weeks away until it returns for its seventh season at the end of the month.

According to the TVLine, the program will see the return of actress Christine Baranski, who plays the role of Leonard's mother, Beverly. She was last seen by loyalists in the premiere of season 5.

The site goes on to report that her character will be seen through a Skype phone call.

Baranski has been on three previous episodes of the show, and was nominated two times for an Emmy award.

The actress currently works on The Good Wife as Diane Lockhart.

In other Big Bang Theory news, info was released on the first two installments, which are titled The Hofstadter Insufficiency and The Deception Verification.

The following synopsis on episode 1 was given by CBS:

"With Leonard away, Sheldon and Penny spend quality time together sharing intimate secrets. Also, Wolowitz helps Raj get over his ex-girlfriend."

The second is described by the network as follows:

"Leonards friendship with Sheldon is put to the test when he returns from the North Sea. Meanwhile, Wolowitz's relationship with his mother causes an unusual threat to his masculinity."
