With only two episodes remaining of Breaking Bad, everything is on the line as Walt (Bryan Cranston) tries to salvage his reputation.

The trailer for next Sunday's penultimate episode, titled Granite State, does not feature many hints for what to expect, but it previews how close Walt is to losing everything.

"You're worried about your wife and kids," Saul (Bob Odenkirk) says in the trailer. "If they don't have you, they're going after her. There are two DEA agents missing - presumed dead. How much time have you got left?"

The episode will likely pick up in the aftermath of Sunday night's electrifying episode Ozymandias, in which Hank (Dean Norris) and Gomez (Stephen Michael Quezada) died in a desert shootout and Walt drove away with baby Holly before dropping her off at a fire station.

The decision to kill Hank was big, according to series creator Vince Gilligan.

"This is one of those moments that we talked about a lot, the writers and I," Gilligan said in a Monday report by Vanity Fair, referring to the decision to kill Hank. "It's something that we debated for many, many hours. Emotionally, it felt like the right direction to take."

Hank's death affected Walt like no death he had witnessed before, considering he was essentially responsible for the death of a family member.

"At the end of the day, Walter White has to reap what he has sown," Gilligan continued, potentially teasing the final episodes of the series. "Hank being killed is a direct result of Walt's choices that he has made. I think [Walt] realizes this in this moment. He is beyond inconsolable."

The penultimate episode of Breaking Bad airs Sunday, Sept. 22 at 9 p.m. on AMC.
