FOX's newest cop comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine premieres Tuesday and in anticipation for the episode, three of its stars talked to TV Fanatic about what to expect in the upcoming season.

The show follows the office adventures of the cops in the 99th Precinct as they also adjust to a new captain who is there to straighten them out.

Terry Crews, who plays Sargeant Terry Jeffords, talked about the unexpected dynamic on the set and hinted a few spoilers about the first few episodes.

"What's weird is that they're actually both opposite," he said of co-stars Andre Braugher and Andy Samberg, who respectively play the more serious and goofball characters on the show. "Andre is a goofball, and I was like, wait, wait, wait a minute, this is Andre Braugher from Glory! And then Andy is like 'I'm studying my lines, I'm working really hard on this delivery...how do I do this delivery. I'm just like, wait a minute! This is a total switcheroo!"

Crews then praised Samberg's talents for making it "look easy."

And Andre is gravitas incarnate," he continued, "but at the same time he gets that it's a joke, a comedy, and he's still having fun here. It's a great balance, and it makes everyone three-dimensional. That's what I love about it."

He also hinted that viewers should watch for one actress in particular.

"Chelsea Peretti is a superstar. Everyone get ready for Chelsea, because her life is going to change after this, because she is one of the funniest things I have ever seen. You don't even know what's going to come out of her mouth. We are on set like 'Oh my god she's just killing it!' and she kills it every time. "

Braugher and Samberg hinted in interviews with the website about things to expect on the show in early episodes, including more information about the Captain's personal life as well as some office romances.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine premieres Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. on FOX. Watch Crews', Samberg's and Braugher's interviews below.
