Fans hoping Evan Peters and Taissa Farmiga's characters would get together on the upcoming season of American Horror Story will be getting their wish.

Peters told Entertainment Weekly in a Friday report that his character Kyle, a frat boy, would take a liking to Farmiga's witch character Zoe.

"They go to a party and [Kyle] sees Taissa's character there and immediately falls in love. It's love at first sight," Peters said, discussing the premiere episode. " Then - to be determined."

Peters and Farmiga played love interests in the first season of American Horror Story. Farmiga's character Violet moved into a haunted house with her family and fell in love with Peters' character Tate, the boy next door. The romance spawned several YouTube videos dedicated to their relationship.

Peters also confirmed that the series would be much lighter in tone compared to the dark second season, Asylum.

"The writing this year is funny," he revealed. "In between the scary stuff, it's lighter and glamorous and sexy and funny and very cool." This season, subtitled Coven, features witchcraft as its main source of horror and Jessica Lange's character Fiona is described as a "glamour cat" type of witch obsessed with eternal youth.

In other American Horror Story news, three more teaser trailers were released by the series recently. All three trailers feature women, many of which seem to be in great distress.

The Hair Don't trailer features a woman whose hair is standing on end while the Writhing trailer features a woman spinning out of control while suspended in the air. The Study Hall trailer features several women in bed together reading books and emphasizes their pointy high heels.

FX also released more promotional photos of the cast in character and can be seen here.

American Horror Story: Coven is set to premiere on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 10 p.m. on FX.
