In an interesting twist, Rebel Wilson's new ABC comedy, Super Fun Night, will premiere tonight not with the pilot but with "Anything for Love," the series' second episode.

Written by Wilson, the half-hour program also stars the Pitch Perfect actress as Kimmie Boubier. Following a big promotion at work, Kimmie decides that she and her roommates, Helen-Alice (Liza Lapira) and Marika (Lauren Ash), need to begin living outside their comfort zone.

With the decision to start the series off with the second episode, the network is running the risk that viewers will miss out on much of the back story. Instead of seeing the characters introduced in general pilot form, viewers will instead jump into the story as Kimmie attempts to overcome her fear of public singing.

While the characters work to overcome their social awkwardness, Wilson claims several of the interesting situations they encounter are from her own life

"My character on the show and her friends are kind of dorky and socially awkward," Wilson said, according to Cosmopolitan. "And even though, yes, now I am in movies or whatever, I am still that girl. People think you're really confident because you're an actress or whatever, but I'm like the worst."

Super Fun Night premieres tonight at 9:30 p.m. on ABC.
