Kathy Griffin isn't shy about her body, a fact that is evident by her decision to flash Jay Leno before her appearance on the Wednesday's The Tonight Show.

Currently on tour, Griffin claims she recently broke the record for most stand-up specials in history.

"So I get to go to Carnegie and the Opera House and all these fancy places, but im not going to lie, I'm still among the people," Griffin said, reminding the audience that she still performs in an array of venues around the country.

However, Leno was more interested in a recent Twitter photo of Griffin lifting her dress to Gloria Estefan.

"I was actually doing a one nighter in Miami and my good friend Gloria Estefan introduced me," the comedian explained. "I thought, I'd like to keep these celebrities on their game so... I just for no reason lifted my dress and the look on her face I think says it all... [but] I don't know what I was thinking wearing the granny panties."

While Griffin's 93-year-old mother likes to rag on pop-culture like "Molly" Cyrus the VMAs, and Facebook, her daughter was quick to have a go at the easily excitable Kanye West.

"If you haven't seen the entire Kanye West sit down on the BBC, it is an hour of the most unintentionally funny television you've ever seen," Griffin joked. "So Kanye just loses it, and I never thought I could feel empathy for a Kardashian, but that poor Kim is stuck with this lunatic."

Griffin currently has tour dates in the U.S. and Australia running through the end of November.
