Dancing With the Stars frontrunner Amber Riley recently revealed that she suffered a significant injury earlier in the season.

Riley and partner Derek Hough appeared on The Arsenio Hall Show recently and discussed the Glee star's injury.

"The scientific word: She pulled a 'butt muscle,'" Hough quipped, explaining the injury from week 2 of the competition.

"I had [a butt injury] when we did the jive, yes," Riley added. "I did that cartwheel. [To audience] Did anybody see me do that cartwheel? During the dress rehearsal, I pulled my butt muscle, and it did not feel good."

Riley also sustained injuries to her knees earlier in the season. The actress had a buildup of pressure in her knees and had to have them drained.

In related news, Riley's Glee co-star Kevin McHale tweeted his outrage at the actress not getting a perfect score during Monday night's dance. Judges Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli gave Riley and Hough's dance a 10 out of 10 while Len Goodman gave them an 8 out of 10.

"COME ON LEN!!!" McHale tweeted. "@MsAmberPRiley was perfect! #DWTS #TeamRoughley woo woo!!! SAMBA"

Riley and Hough will be dancing the Paso Doble in the next episode of Dancing With the Stars. Since the last episode was a non-elimination, there is a good chance that the next episode will feature a double elimination.

Luckily for the couple, their scores have been consistently great all season so they might not have to worry about the threat of elimination.

The next episode of Dancing With the Stars airs Monday, Oct. 28 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
