The Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) Glee spinoff may not actually be happening after all.

The internet was buzzing with rumors of a potential spinoff for Rachel after a report by RadarOnline revealed that it was definitely happening. However, both TVLine and E!Online have confirmed that the spinoff will not happen.

"There is Glee and Glee only," a source close to the show told E!Online. Similarly, TVLine firmly stated that "it's not happening."

The musical series is still grappling with the loss of star Cory Monteith, who played star quarterback Finn Hudson for four seasons. Series co-creator Ryan Murphy has revealed that they are in talks with Fox about how to end the series, with options that include a New York City-only final season and the possibility of moving Kurt (Chris Colfer) to Russia.

In other Glee spoiler news, the series is doing a Christmas special in December despite the in-show time period being in May currently. It is not known whether the series will jump forward several months or if it will be some type of standalone episode.

Murphy tweeted in late October that the episode would be a "NEVER BEFORE SEEN Xmas special" and also wrote "Too hot for TV." This could mean that they will air an episode meant to be shown in a previous season, or, based on the "Too hot for TV" note they might do some sort of "Christmas in the summer" episode.
