As Mad Men continues production on its seventh and final season, star Elisabeth Moss has revealed a few details about what fans can expect from the AMC drama.

Though Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner is famous for not revealing any spoilers whatsoever about his show, Moss teased some information about what to expect from her character Peggy Olson.

"I'm not even necessarily supposed to tell you I'm on the show," Moss told Entertainment Weekly, laughing. "For me - definitely everything is where it should be. And it is so early. It is still the beginning at this point so I barely know anything anyway. But I'm very happy with where it is. I can say that."

Season 6 of Mad Men concluded with Peggy sitting in Don Draper's (Jon Hamm) old office with a satisfied look on her face. The young secretary turned copy director was in a position where she had the potential to become a partner at Sterling Cooper & Partners, smiling at her rise to power.

Mad Men Creator Matthew Weiner Talks About Season 7

Mad Men is splitting its final season into two parts, with seven episodes in 2014 and seven in 2015. Moss said she's optimistic about the plan.

"After six seasons it's nice to take a little breather and allow people to absorb the first half and then absorb the second half and have a moment to really enjoy it. Why not?" she said. "I'd be perfectly happy if it went on for more than the seventh season."
