American Horror Story: Coven co-creator Ryan Murphy has revealed new details about Stevie Nicks' special guest appearance on the series.

Murphy spoke with Entertainment Weekly in a Thursday report, discussing how the legendary Fleetwood Mac singer will be incorporated in the show.

Fiona (Jessica Lange) will recruit Nicks as part of a ruse to get Nicks-obsessed Misty Day (Lily Rabe) to reveal whether or not she's the next Supreme, according to Murphy. Fiona will tell her that being the Supreme comes with great privileges, including "tickets to the Oscars and Met Ball," in addition to meeting idols like Nicks.

"So she brings Stevie Nicks in as a gift to Misty to prove to her that if she exhibits more power she'll get that and more," Murphy added. "Then the other girls come home and see Stevie and Misty singing and it starts them trying to move much quicker to prove that they are the Supreme.

Nicks will appear as herself in episode 10 of Coven. It is unknown if she will appear in other episodes.

Kathy Bates & Angela Bassett Returning for Season 4 of American Horror Story?

As for the next episode of Coven, which is titled The Dead, Murphy said that it will be a very "meditative" episode an focused on the newly-revived Madison (Emma Roberts), Zoe (Taissa Farmiga) and Kyle (Evan Peters).

"There's a lot of great stuff about Queenie [Gabourey Sidibe] and Marie Laveaux [Angela Bassett] and the unexpected friendship with LaLaurie [Kathy Bates]. We dwell a lot on characters in that episode who are dead and are brought back and what their inner lives are and what their futures are."
