Mark Zuckerberg and his longtime girlfriend Priscilla Chan, married on Friday at his Palo Alto, California home.

Details of the wedding have emerged slowly. Their wedding picture was made public yesterday in which Chan is wearing a white gown with a lace bodice and a floor-lenght veil. Zuckerberg didn't wear a tuxedo but a dark blue suit with loose tie and white shirt.

The wedding was held at Zuckerberg's backyward with fewer than 100 guest.

The guests ate dinner from the couple's favorite restaurants: Palo Alto Sol and Fuki Sushi, People Magazine reports. For dessert they ate Brudick Chocolate "mice," which they reportedly ate on their first date.

According to reports, they had been planning the ceremony for the past five months.

Zuckerberg gave a "simple ruby" ring to Chan the day of the wedding that he designed for her.

Zuckerberg founded Facebook when he was a student at Harvard University.

His personal wealth was estimated at more than $19.1 billion, making him the world's youngest billionaire.

He reportedly met Chan at a party put on by his fraternity in Harvard during his sophomore year. She was a fellow student originally from the Boston suburbs and they began dating in 2003.

In September 2010, Chan reportedly moved in at his Palo Alto home.

Zuckerberg studied Mandarin Chinese in preparation for the couple's visit to China in December 2010.
