Lady Gaga is the new face of Versace and it seems she liked one of the dresses she wore in the campaign's ad so much, she showed up in a very similar one at the 2013 American Music Awards.

On Sunday, Gaga strolled into the award show riding a mechanical horse and sporting a floor-length lavender gown. The dress also featured a large silver neck piece.

The gown is very similar to the one Gaga wore in one of her promotional photos for Versace. In the ad, however, Gaga's dress is knee-length and tight. But, the rest is awfully similar.

The Italian fashion company confirmed that Gaga would be the face of its collection via Twitter on Nov. 23.

"#Versace proudly confirms @LadyGaga as the face of SS14 campaign shot by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott #VersaceLovesGaga," the brand's Twitter page wrote.

In a second Versace promotional photo, Gaga had a different look. The Applause singer held a black purse and sported a sparkly skirt of the same color.
