Something is very, very wrong with Teen Wolf's Stiles Stilinski.

Teen Wolf's season 3B tells characters to "Lose Your Mind," and Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) is certainly complying.

The normally hyperactive, sarcastic teen will be taking a turn for the worse when the MTV drama returns from its midseason hiatus. Bloodstained and hallucinating in a new preview 9(watch video below), Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) appears to be completely consumed by the aftereffects of last season's ice bath.

This, kids, is why you don't participate in ritualistic faux-suicide.

Building off a previously released scene from New York Comic-Con, O'Brien's human character seems to be trapped in a waking nightmare. Falling into strange traces and unconsciously scribbling the words "Wake Up," Stiles continues to see people trying to communicate one simple message to him over and over in sign language.

If that isn't trippy enough, the young Beacon Hills resident seems to have changed - or fears he will. Walking through a distorted landscape of hallways, Stiles holds up his hands only to find them covered in blood. Scott desperately tries to reason with him, telling him, "This isn't you," but Stiles seems to have other ideas.

As he stops in front of a mirror to himself bloody and dirty, the frightened teen can be heard whispering, "This is you."

Teen Wolf returns to MTV on Jan. 6.
