Mike Colter, who made his return as Lemond Bishop on the Dec. 1 episode of The Good Wife, spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the future of his character and which firm he would pick on the show.

Colter guest starred as Chicago's top drug dealer in the 100th episode of the show, titled The Decision Tree. While Bishop is a notorious individual, he is a big catch for a law firm and was represented by Alicia (Juliana Margulies) when she worked for Lockhart/Gardner.

In the 100th episode, Bishop showed up at Florrick/Agos' holiday party. Now it seems like he has to decide which fim he supports.

"My character is there to finally bring out a point of tension that's been going with the Florrick/Agos law firm. They need money. They need clients," he said. "And they're trying to figure out if they can be successful and also be ethical at the same time. They've been batting [my name] back and forth. What do we do? Who can we bring on board? Should we deal with Lemond Bishop or should we not?"

The actor went on to clarify that while Bishop might be good business for Alicia's new firm, they might want to take time to consider their decision of taking him on as a client since he was not exactly good for the other company's image.

"I think for the most part, when they were dealing with me when they were with Lockhart/Gardner it was because they had to. It was a necessary evil because the partners decided it was good for the business," he said. "They kept going with it. Now they're trying to redefine themselves as a new law firm they're realizing do we need people like him? And if we do need people like him, how are we different from Lockhart/Gardner? What is this all for?"

When asked about which firm his character would go with, Bishop explained that the decision was not exactly his to make.

"It's not only which firm he's going to choose, but who's going to choose him," he said.

He did suggest that Bishop was a "smart individual" and he would make the decision that was best for him.

"Ultimately, he's not going to make [a decision] based on anything other than savvy business. That's the kind of guy he is," he added.
