The X Factor has narrowed its playing field down to the Top Four, and contestants spent Wednesday night trying to convince voters that they should move on to the Top 3.

Following the week 6 elimination round, Demi Lovato's Girls group was completely eliminated while Simon Coweel managed to get two of his groups into the semifinals. As the competition show moved into week 7, Carlito Olivero, Restless Road, Alex & Sierra, and Jeff Gutt each took the stage to try and impress the public with two more songs.

First up was Olivero. For his viewers' choice song, Olivero was assigned Boyfriend by Justin Bieber. The Boys group member then went on to perform Marc Anthony's 1999 hit, Need To Know.

Next to take the stage were the members of Restless Road. Comprised of Colton, Zach, and Andrew, the group first performed their viewers' choice song, That's My Kind of Night by Luke Bryan. Despite their lackluster first act, the group received positive feedback on their later performance of Hunter Hayes' Wanted.

Fan favorites Alex & Sierra were next in front of the judges. After performing Little Talks by Iceland's Of Monsters and Men, the duo gave their rendition of Sara Bareilles' Gravity.

Last on the docket was Jeff Gutt of the Over 25s. Gutt performed Leonard Cohen's Hallelijah for his viewers' choice piece before taking on Imagine Dragon's Demons.

The Fox series will return tomorrow at 8 p.m. ET with the Top 4 results show.
